I’m the photo editor for the COVID-19 Project for the Center for Cooperative Media at Monclair State University, New Jersey.

What follows are early morning street photography type pictures on a section of Jersey City, New Jersey, West Side Avenue, running east to west, between Sip Avenue and the Belmont Avenue entrance at Lincoln Park. These pictures weren’t taken specifically taken for the project but randomly shot. Today is the first day after the re-opening of small businesses in Jersey.
