CUNY Believe It Or Not

The following is from outgoing CUNY Professional Staff Congress President Barbara Bowen. The PSC, as it is more popularly known, is the union representing “… 30,000 faculty and staff at the City University of New York (CUNY) and the CUNY Research Foundation.” It gets a lot of positive news attention despite the feeble contracts it has negotiated over the years. It purports to be a swashbuckling progressive for its members — but I’ve had issues and problems with the way its swordsmanship.

But this first publishing of CUNY Believe It or Not isn’t about me my particular issues. It’s from outgoing President Barbara Bowen about contract negotiations during this COVID-19 Pandemic. Don’t know yet who is the incoming.

Consider this an FYI.
