City University of New York Launches Platform for Reporting Discrimination and Retaliation — Part 1

In November, 2022, CUNY implemented a new university-wide platform for reports of discrimination and retaliation as defined and prohibited by the CUNY Equal Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy.

Being interviewed quite a while back about workplace and academic bullying at Hunter College. Interview took place at the corner of 68th Street and Lexington Avenue.

The new portal enables all members of a CUNY college community to report allegations of discrimination and/or retaliation. After a report is received, appropriate notification will be made to the identified school. {Whoa! Base on my experiences expecting Hunter College brass doing the right things, I have reservations.}

On the Newmark J-School website, you can access the portal on the Current Students page under “Policies and Procedures” and the Faculty and Staff page under “Faculty and Staff Resources,” then “Forms.”

The CUNY Offices of Computing and Information Services, General Counsel, Communications and Marketing, and Student Affairs partnered with University Human Resources in the development and implementation of this platform.
