1) I cringed when I read JJ's comment about apologizing for Donald Trump (outside the U.S.) but recovered quickly as I read through the whole article despite the initial cringe.

Trump's comments and news ads attacking Central Park 5 well before his public campaign for the White House was a sure sign that he was a rabid racist. And there was hardly a blink from the mainstream NYC journalism milieu. I don't use "rabid racist" loosely, and I'm not referring to people with race hang-ups or prejudices that might be addressed: It's the metastasizing cancer that fuels white supremacists and others like them. I will never forget that so many didn't see or didn't want to see the writing on the wall.

2) "How to be an Anti-Racist" – I'm making sure that all my "liberal" colleagues where I teach journalism and especially the college president are informed about Prof. Kendi's book.

3) Paragraph 10 starting with "Soon, by 2050 ..." – I cringed at its accuracy and reality.

4) I wish there were more responses. I sure in hell plan to circulate it.
